Alchemist Agency is a clothing brand that aspires to encourage people to be the architects of their own lives - to live and create a life they truly desire. Each collection is designed to highlight different social causes we deeply care about. We donate 10% of our proceeds to organizations that support these causes, so we all can build towards a world filled with alchemists. We hope these pieces encourage people to honor their own and other people’s personal agency.

 

Our Story

• hi hi! i’m bea, I graduated college class of ‘21 and post-grad was… tough.
• i was fortunate enough to find stability during this transition, but nothing felt fulfilling. after months of “tolerating” work, i felt drained and longing for more.
• the timeline of “alchemist agency” is a little all over the place. it felt like i was flipping puzzle pieces over the course of my first year out of college. each piece adding to the bigger picture of what this brand came to be.

  • working two jobs that weren’t fulfilling leading to poor mental state
  • seeing how much $$ these industries were receiving
  • volunteering at a Historic Filipinotown Toy Drive and being reminded of the power of community
  • raising over $1,000 for my birthday to different organizations
  • reading “the alchemist”
  • many conversations
  • reflecting on my college commitments where i explored personal agency in different communities
• all of these pieces contributed to the intersection of passion and purpose, a point alchemized out of frustration and hope
• although i can’t say for certain this is my personal legend (just bc i'm still so young and i know i'm always learning!!), i’m confident that it will lead me to it.
